Te Wananga o Aotearoa Gisborne offices

An existing circa. 1970's hotel accommodation block refurbished and refitted for new administration offices. All building services have been upgraded and/or replaced with specific design required for data services, and fire safety (including a gas flood system in server rooms). The existing building fabric has been extended, refurbished and altered for the requirements of the brief. Extensive remedial maintenance of the existing building fabric was undertaken concurrently including seismic restrengthening. Winner 2015 NZIA Regional Award.

Our team was responsible for:

Stakeholder liaison, Feasibility studies & due diligence, Concept Designs, Full documentation & specification including space planning, resource consent, tender & construction documents, change management and Project Management.
